Fox Meadow in Maple Shade is billed as luxury apartments but is hardly that, the outlet said.

"We have holes in the wall. We had an infestation of mice. And I mean, we had a lot of mice; there are pieces of drywall that are falling," resident Alan Marles told ABC.

They've complained to their landlord, Kamson Corporation, which promised to make timely repairs.

"Nothing was ever done," Marles said.

The television station's 'Action News Troubleshooters' have received almost 20 complaints about conditions at Fox Meadow — And on the day ABC was there, state inspectors were, too, acting on the Marles' complaint. Inspectors found 10 violations in their apartment, the outlet said.

Last year, Action News reported that seven inspectors were assigned to Fox Meadow. At the time, the state found almost 200 pages of violations, the outlet said.

Kamson Corporation, which owns Fox Meadow, replied to the outlet: "Everything will be completed prior to the re-inspection. The list of violations is very typical for a property with 1,492 apartments."
